Q:

Maddog Stocks has a new site with lower prices…UPDATE 12/5

http://maddogriflestocks.com/

All his models are priced lower and are drop in kits. I had one and it was really nice. Felt good and gave good balance to the Talon.

Now that he’s making Marauder stocks, I’m going to check into one. A rather unique style.

Just an update and opportunity for a good buy.

More good news…Randy over at R & L has the Maddog stocks at the same prices. I didn’t know that. I believe Tony has the same deal. I’m not wanting to leave any sellers out if there’s a savings to the forum members.

This company should make a stock like this AI one (see link below). I may be wrong, but I think this would sell like Hot cakes on the tube gun platform. I never did like the looks of that stock they made for the Marauder…

😯$875 bucks!!!! 😯 😯

The ‘Dog sells his AF stocks for a bit over a $100 each, and $200 for the Mrod. How could he make a stock that looks like a blind committee put it together, for less than Accuracy International?

Why would he?

What does that thing do for nearly $900??? I didn’t see any orifices in it, so it’s not a marital aid. I counted twelve (12) hex bolts on one side alone, and eight (8) components that I could see from the side. Does it fit every known gun made since 1900? Where are the grease zerks located? Does it rattle when it shoots? What happens if a piece falls off, or if it rains?

Perhaps I’m missing the point here? It’s just my personal opinion, which I seldom share with anyone, but that stock looks like shit on a white horse!

You have been a bad boy, Joe! Go to your room…right now, and put down that bottle of Chivas Regal! And don’t trip over the empty Jack Daniels-Black bottles on your way!

Kindest regards,

JOe,

You really got into that stock at a good price.

I really like the looks of the Excaliber stock, I think it might work with a dog leg etac like I have if I went after it with a wood rasp and extended the but.

If I did that and got a TJ barrel that just fit inside the end cap of my TSS I coul dprobably really make that TSS into a powerful and cool carbine.

Trouble is, that is $400.00 to turn a cool 130 FPE carbine into a slightly more powerful unwieldly carbine.

It never stops does it. 😯

I love my MD stock and I love the fact that I only paid 85.00 for it. I bought a rifle for a real good price (with the MD stock) and I put it back to stock config with a grip and forearm I had, sold it at a good price, and ended up with a cost of 85.00 on the MD. I’ve been patiently waiting for a rifle to come up for sale with one for over a year and it finally happened. I never could bring myself to spend over 200.00. Not that it is not worth that, it surely is, it’s just that I don’t have the means to drop that kind of coin for just a stock.
