Major AA S410 Modification
Well, I wanted to regulate my AA S410 myself and use a large bottle for a Crap load of shots at UK Limit 12 FPE.
It is currently running a standard paintball reg, but removed one shim meaning about 600-650 psi, too low at the moment, Im going to put the shim back in and possibly more to get it up to about 900-1000psi.
The good thing is that the built in AA gauge will show me the regulated output
So here is the creation
Just need to hack about the stock a bit so accomodate the new Mod and should be a good’un

OOPS—yes I did mean air tube, NOT barrel…duh!
By the “Short piece of the barrel” I suspect you mean a short piece of the air chamber?
I was thinking about it today actually, about how YOU would be able to do it easily and that was the idea I came up with. The bit of the QB tank block that goes into the tube is about 19mm or 0.748″ and since the air tube has a larger ID than this, then an adapter would have to be made to fit.

Outstanding idea..since I would be using higher pressure, I COULD just use a short piece of the barrel instead of the aluminum tube you’ve got, for the needed air chamber. Wouldn’t that work? Provided of course the ID of barrel is large enough to mount the QB block..In my case it would also mean possibly having to remove the barrel shroud (US model), but can always use a TKO unit to replace that 😎 8-), if shroud did in fact have to be removed. Thanks for posting this…this just might be what I do this winter..looks VERY promising 😀 😀 😀

Just a shame that the bottle can’t be much further back, I would have liked it to be about 2″ further back but eh… what are you gunna do? 😀

Looks dam good! kind of bumps you up alonside the more expensive rapids and daystates. You may have started a trend 😉
So, Just finished hacking about my stock and here is what she looks like at the moment

Not “Perfect” but it was all done with a saw, a chisel and a rasp 😀
Can’t wait to get it in a bullpup stock, but that will take some time I rekon

I have the classic tube, I just did a rough calculation with was obviously wrong 🙂
The silver bit is threaded onto the standard valve housing, no mods.
Then an amount of space for the regulated air, and then bored out for the standard Qb79 drop block.
Since I am using pressures 1000psi max, then I went with aluminium but greater pressures I suggest stainless steel.

The S410 , as far as I know , only came with 3 different air cylinder sizes….11.0 ci (carbine0, 14,7 ci (classic) 19.1ci (xtra FAC) Judging from the barrel pictured, you have the carbine version which would have had the 184 cc (11.0ci) version..did your gun have a custom made tube on it before you started the mod??
The black block that hooks up to regulator, is it that standard QB79 tank block that everyone uses for bottle installation? Does it bolt right up to the firing pot? or did you have to modify that as well? I ‘m asking many questions because I have an S410 and am really interested in what you’ve done..I ‘m thinking about 1400-1600 psi..would like to shoot 15.9 JSB jumbos at around 900fps.. should be good for about 35 shots..that’s what my Crosman gets, and I’m using the 13 cu.in. bottle on it with 1600 psi regulator.

I don’t really have the energy for a full bullpup yet and I have the regular stock at the moment but I definatley see me changing it to bullpup in the future.
Using a bottle is so nice, a large volume and regulated.
