Making a Shorty
Okay, a little while back I posted a query about short tanks, while the need may not be for everyone, there may be possible applications for those of you who like to pack light, want a carbine or in my case are a short guy with even shorter kids and nephews.
Thanks to Bikincrazy52 for making the valve adaptors and putting the tanks together for me.
Thanks to Adam (Mr. The King) for making my Wokbutts. Adam I have ideas for telescoping a t-stock for carbines.
Thanks to shrpshtr28 for making my pellet knobs.
The combo of the short tank and the Wokbutt may not be for everyone but it really suits my style of offhand hold. The tank is a 13 cu in. from JDSAirman (Hope your knee surgery went well)
I don’t have a plain Talon but I imagine a 12″ barrel in a Talon frame with this tank would make for the one of the shortest Airforce guns yet.

This gun is a work in progress while I wait for Mr. Tunes to finish my 18″ SS

So Mr. Tunes is making me an SS which will work with either a 12″ or 18″ .22 barrel. Tuned, and shrouded. At the time of ordering I was being too cheap to go all the way I’m not used to spending over 1K for an air rifle (actually thats not true, anyone interested in competition 10M air pistols and rifles?) I dedided to send an e-mail to Tony asking him if he could fit both the 18″ and 12″ and add the hammer slap, bushing, etc. Haven’t heard from him yet, I don’t like bugging artist and gun plumbers, so Tony if you’re reading this could you let me know if adding the extras is okay?
Adam, I’m going to need another Wokbutt, I’ll pm you.
Bikin’ thanks again, I’m probably going to need another tank if you’re interested, I’ll pm you too
