Q:

Making my leshiy quieter

Thought i would share this simple say i used to make my 250mm barrels quieter.

Used the 350mm attachment then used a grub screw to hold the plastic baffle in place, i was previously using a larger o ring which also worked but had the risk of the baffle moving and being hit by the pellet.

Works a treat.

Was planning to use 2 baffles but don’t have a spare right now.

Can you tell what is the thread size of moderator for 350mm barrel?

Re: New Viper PST scope for Leshiy

A $1,000 scope on a $1,000 pcp???? WTF… :suprisedn:

It can’t be $800 better than the $200 Chinese scopes…can it? Will someone that rich please send me their used Chinese scope when you replace it???

Hoot:

No harm in making it so quiet that you can’t even hear the thing :biggrinn:

PST looks good on there Brain, you should have seen when i had my S&B PMII on it

I would like to ask a question (hopefully without causing an outrage…..)

While I already said I consider this “additional silencing” solution a clever idea, may I ask if the Leshiy really needs this?

I mean in all the videos I’ve seen the Leshiy isn’t loud at all and in the 12 ft/lbs configuration actually it should be completely silent.

Is this more a “fuxing” thing or isn’t the gun so backyard friendly like it seemed to be?

Thanks.

That is clever… I have been talking to Donny about making a new “insert” for the moderator. I envision a slip in baffle cartridge with his new baffle system.

I have the Vortex PST 2.5-10X32 on my Leshiy now. I think I am going to leave it. I know it is a little long (12.75″) but I don’t believe that it looks bad. Moreover, the scope is very functional. At the ranges I have been using the Leshiy 10X is more practical

It does look great bud, hopefully someone will get one and post some feedback, i was also considering the Rozor, but same things put me off.

They do have great service when things go wrong with the lifetime warranty, why i do have the Razor Gen II 4.5-27, great scopes.

I will take a spare baffle when they arrive Matt, im guessing this Mod is for one of the caliber’s that failed to ship in 350mm, im still shooting my 250mm barrel not got round to trying my 350 Barrels yet – i am happy with the .177 from both a performance point of view 7 greys down and very back yard friendly not an Edgun fanboy but this one ticks all my boxes – on another note have you seen the new vipers PST II’s now that will be nice leishy scope,

Will send you one when i get mine Tony.

Can use this with all 4 of my 250mm barrels and 3 of the long without having to do anything, but i do need to get another adapter and more baffles to save me the trouble of removing the screw and baffle everytime i want to go back to the shorter option.

Loving this little gun, it’s a keeper mate, one of those i can’t ever see myself letting go of.

Did consider the that Viper, but never been a fan of capped turrets as keep losing the caps on my MTC connect. They look good.

with Vortex you will get a free replacement – with the Lesihy a capped turret is a plus as you could knock it off when packing it away with tactical turrets that dont lock down and is more in-keeping with the compact theme – yup a deffo keeper here

Very noticeable difference mate.

A screw on extension with a rabbit to hold the the existing baffle in its original place would be an easy creation! I’m sure Donny is on the drawing board as we speak! :geekn: I will say that with the .25 be carful moving the baffle out too far because the tolerance is really close. I’ve had to adjust mine a bit due to baffle strikes.

I held the baffle in the correct position with the 350mm barrel when putting in the threaded hole so that it’s held in it’s correct position, so no real chance of baffle strike.
