Q:

making my stealth more comfortable to shoot

after about 11years of shooting stealths i decided to try and make it abit more comfortable to shoot so i lowered the bottle and made a new adjustable butt-pad also added a gauge to keep a check on the bottle pressure so i know when its time to fill up again without having to count shots.

Hey,

looks very nice 😯

Yes I be patience 😳 for the other pictures.

screw threads cut and o-ring step ready for turning around to start the bottle end

What alloy are you using

Hey,

Thank you for the picture, this is the “easy” step.

I hope  you can post more pictures, and the progress on the other side,
Thank you in advance :thumb:

HI, looks very cool, nice work, and a lot of work.

How did you make the air connection between the both ends?
do you get a good airflow, and at what power are you shooting
Can you help us with more info, like a work around ,
of how you made it? and a drawing?

Please 🙄

Thank you, ewoodie.

here is a picture of the valve end bored out to 16.5mm and ready to be threaded .

Did you have to adjust the collar to get the timing right?

I think so, but it’s a small job .

Loose your pistol grip, loose the hexnut of the collar, and turn it in the good position, fasten the hex nut, to put a mark on it, and drill a few mm, like the other hole.

Better to fix it with 2 nuts, one more fom the top ( scope rail). 😉

Did you have to adjust the collar to get the timing right? Guys I’m just guessing here as I have NO machining experience. It must be a LOT (read, VERY expensive) of work, as Adam said or these would be for sale. I think M.M.s E-Tac may be as good except this one SEEMS to have a slight advantage in less added L.O.P.

Thats awesome and a shit load of work 😀

Looks good, is there enough room for a quick disconnect (1/8″ pipe) so the tank will not have to be removed for filling any idea if you are going to go into production?

I second that many of us have been waiting for an angled/elbowed adapter. Some of us in the back of our minds have been holding on to the promise of the one displayed here in the forum by the Argentinian airgunsmith way back that’s never become available in the Northern Hemisphere.

I myself would be interested in special ordering if you can machine one at a cost reasonable to you.

X2. I remember that thread and evetually gave up waiting. The only thing I’ve ever really disliked about the AF guns (other than loose tolerances) is the bottle/buttstock that forces the scope farther above the bore than we would like.

Just from your pics, this looks like a shorter and better version. 🙂

And if you could inform everyone on the adapter affects on power/velocity (mostly likely from a pre- and post- adapter chrony study) so that we might predict what other adjustments we may have to consider making to our Airforce rifles, that would be great.

I really like the way it keeps intact the horizontal lines of the rifle! Very beautiful work! Commendations!

That is very nice work there 😀
