Q:

Manual magazine for Edgun

A couple weeks ago, there was a thread about a manual magazine being sold on the yellow. I traded messages with the seller, and he agreed to make a .25 caliber version for me. He didn’t have a .25 Matador, but with a couple of measurements, he turned one out for me. He’s a very nice guy, and he does good work. Here are a few pics:

I haven’t had that much time to play with it, but I can say it works. Also, it does not interfere with scope sighting or require high rings, and (at least for me) it does not interfere with cheek weld. It actually makes a good reference to index against to get my cheek weld the same each time. And unlike the aluminum magazine on my R2.5 .22 Matador, the Delrin body has a nice neutral feel, not cold and sharp.

Doug gets a big thumbs up from me; I’ve been looking for a magazine for my .25 Matador since I got it.

Wow, I hope he doesn’t mind making a few more, if I ever get far enough up on the list to get my hands on a 25 long I’ll be sure to send him a friendly email, maybe he will make me one. Nice mag, looks like a quality piece.

That’s a very nicely made piece of machinery!

I suspect there is a market waiting to happen if he decides to sell them.

I am assuming it is manually indexed???

I bought the one from the yellow. It works quit well. I will post a review on it when I get time.

Do you have the contact info for the person that made the 25 cal mag for you.
I would like to get one.

Thanks mark
