Q:

Marauder Pistol Question

I was wondering if you took the Prod grip and trigger assembly off, would the Mrod trigger assembly bolt right up to it? I’m thinking bullpup here.

Well, never having had the pleasure of handling and disassembling a PRod, I did not know whether the trigger assembly was an integral part of the pistol grip. I am hoping in another year or so to acquire one, add the double tank and build a bullpup.

According to this website..it will work.

http://www.airgunlab.com/products/Marauder_Trigger_Spacer

The Marauder Trigger Spacer is used when a Marauder trigger is installed on a Benjamin Discovery or a Crosman 2xxx air tube. Because the M-rod tube wall thickness is .095 and the Disco is only .065, the M-rod sear sticks into the Disco .030 too far. The Marauder Trigger Spacer brings the sear and hammer back into proper alignment.

Notice they say 2xxx tube..the prod is a 2220 tube..

So it should fit..you may or may not need that trigger spacer.

But WHY?
The prod has a nice little trigger on it.
It has 1st stage..2nd stage..an overtravel screw and a spring tension adjustment.

I’d a thunk somebody here would have been there, done that by now.
