Maruder 25/vs 22 cricket vs /25 cricket, YARDS?
Now I move about as slow as honey,,, I have not even got my 25 Cricket from earnest yet,
But what do you guys want to see, 5 shot, eight shot (my favorite ) or 10 shot groups???
I am going to do a full blown test of the three guns, looks like its going to be a 48 yard test,,,
Wished I could stretch it to 100 yards but some dumb ass is building a Mobil home park on my west side…
Looks like I am going to have to move again……..
But what shot groups you want to see????? 48 yards?????
Getting everything set up just waiting on the 25 Cricket gun…..

That’s OK, I’ll still be following along… I’m doing battle in my head right now trying to figure our which BP to buy… Depending on what thread I read, my battle goes from Cricket, to Bobcat, back to Edgun… sooner or later, I’ve got to “Pull” the proverbial trigger… Would probably already have a Bobcat if I could get one from other than AoA… just cannot see myself doin’ business with those guys…

Ok guys I may have jumped the gun a little looks like it will be another week before I get the 25 Cricket in.

I like the simplicity of the 5 shots CTC and its quite popular but you can use other methods.
Increasing the number of shots does increase the confidence level of the statistics gathered but also increases the chance of a flier and hence messes up methods that uses 100% of the shots (vs. methods that takes say 80% or 90% cluster). I personally like a method that uses 10 (or higher) shots and then dropped the furthest 1 (or 2) points and establish a 90% or 80% CTC. But since such methods are not widely used, it become hard to compare with others posted results.

Seriously, whatever is your longest range is good enough for this crowd. When you got a new place, you might have more room. I’m on decent acreage and can’t get more than 40-45 yds without removing some trees. It’s a friggin’ jungle in this part of Virginia. I need one of these:

Not going to happen, They are building a small trailer park, the ones the hold one person or 15 Mescans , Its going up across my Neighbors yard ands will house about 40 trailers in two lots of land…
Some people call them man camps but the ones I got down the ally house five guys per trailer and they are the little pull behind your truck small bumper hitch trailers ,
I am looking to move out of this Oil field, Its getting crazy.
We got stores and restraints that just close down for a few days because there is no one to work them.
I went to the local 7_11 and the lady behind the counter did not speak English…..
Any one know of a nice place to move to??? I should say retire to,

I changed my mine, I want 50 yards now…..hehehe
I might be able to move the shooting table back another yard, I will have to get the range finder out and double check,,,
Still waiting on the 25 cricket, May test out the Cricket 22 and Marauder 25 tomorrow if I give the sparrows a break…

The Marauder has a eight shot clip , So each gun will shoot eight shots at 48 yards,,,
25 cricket , 22 cricket and 25 Marauder shoot out…
And you guys that think a 25 is just to powerful for your back yard, My 38 yard back stop is a bunch of tile bricks, Yea the big ones like six inch by 12 inch, Behind my brickes is a 1/4 inch of steel
so I hear ping, Ping,, So I shot a hole through the brick shooting at the same place a bunch of times,,, Done tossed the brick, will take pictures next time, I promise , This is with my 22 Cricket…
The tile bricks are cheap about 1,75 each.
Just waiting on the 25 Cricket….
