Q:

Matador leak

After filling I’m getting a leak from the fill port..I’d need to pump up a little more to stop the leak like there’s something stuck by the fill port holding it open….but after I pumped up the gun a little more to clear whatever debris is in the way the leak stops but there’s a small leak cause I lost about 50 bar since I filled up this morning…what do I need to do to fix this?

We’ll I disassembled the gun and re lubed the prints because none of them looked cut or wore out….and I adjusted the reg just a quarter turn and re assembled the gun….filled it up and the gun is holding air like normal with no leak….now I took 3 shots threw the chrony and I came out with 700…703….695, now I’m going to run up the hst till I get my 850-880 fps and I’ll throw a string and see what I come out with.

LMAO you know you hating!! You wish you could just turn a knob and let the tank fill your gun. Instead you’re breaking your back pumping it. I’ve been there. Once you get the tank, you’ll eventually get a compressor. One thing leads to the next. It’ll be a lot easier to tune your gun. I haven’t open my matador’s reg yet so I’ll be paying attention to your progress. The Cricket is very easy to adjust, and I’ve taken it apart many times. I have some .25 R3M Reg O-rings. If you need them, I can send a few to you. I am sure they are the same size.

Change check valve oring, clean sealing surface on the screw and fill plug body. Usually the oring gets hard and not seal completely.
