Salute to all the gunpowder stories….
I really don’t know whether I’ll ever fire even close to your records.. 😯

Would like to hear more or Air gunners…that’s when the going gets tough…with the pellet arc at greater distances…….

Not to miss the BB one was cool !!! but the rank would be low cause your friend was learning the arc… πŸ˜‰

The satisfaction is great when you have estimated the distance…Aimed for the eye …and The Pellet hits bulls-eye….and if its beyond …..50 yards….adrenaline is pushing harder….and if the target gets knocked without a twitch….then its an achievement.

Its like you cherish every buck you spent on those machines… πŸ˜†

it was the last shot, kept arching them over there adj. for elevation.
Sucker dropped, went over there and the bb went direct hit in the eye.
I know it sounds crazy, but it happened.
I could walk off the distance of the shot, it was 3 lots away, lots are about 40′ wide here.

SAW

The “Red Ryder” ..its a beautiful heritage gun to own.

You say 15 shots ..but which one hit….. πŸ˜‰

That thing does 350 fps max and with a BB…he knocked the hell out of a crow ….Gosshhhhhhhhhhhh 😯

It would have been less than 1 ft/lbs left at that range….(60 yards)

But then he hit the eye.. πŸ˜›

My buddy way back shot a crow in the eye and killed it at 60 yards with a Red Ryder 😯 😯 😯 😯 😯
Took like 15 shots, cause you can see the BB flying.

Truly impressive πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜‰

SAW

50 yard ground hog with a beeman c1. I head shot and he just fell over no twitch at all.

quote slayer5:

well over 300 yards , black buck in texas 7mm mag remington from the custom shop. ranged him at 324 and he moved closer before the shot. Chest shot on black buck is a small target. animal actually bucked straight up in the air and made it 20 yards or so. 7mm mag should have put him down for the count. I have many texas hunts with long shots. Elk with same gun 175 plus yards. ranged at water hole shot while leaving probably 180-185 yard shot. (big target) shot a fallow deer at just about 100 yards with a 30/30 contender pistol

nice contender shot

hows the 30-30 outta that?
my dad had a .35 that will out shoot the rifle anyday

my longest shot with a rest is a crow at 417 lasered -shot out of the ice fishing shanty last year
i rested on the card playing table opened the door and let er fly

i also nailed a coyote at 402 using a fence postall with the .223

A one shot – one kill head shot on a skunk, 73 yds with my TSS .22 rifle.

40-45 yards with a sub 12FPE .22 BSA Tactical XL on a rabbet.

got longer shots with the stealth but the springers are harderd to shoot

To the best of my knowledge….
Mine was a rat at 46 yards with a Diana Airking 54 in .22
Those were the days when I had nothing else…
Now I have a Talon and a Condor, havent set a record as I read the above posts.

It was shot with a Crow Magnum open sight…….

I’mm gonna spend some time shooting in the 80~~100 yard range once I am at my native place..But that happens once a year for a span of 7 days only πŸ˜₯

I live in an Urban area and cannot go beyond the 50 yard cauz its unsafe….Not that if I could, would chanllenge crowpopper with his .223
Thanks for the cool pic mate… πŸ™‚

70 yds on a starling in a tree. I was shooting the .25 TSS and 37grn. EJs.

here is the gun with a diff scope on it
now the lupys back on

For all those who are crossing the 30 yard range its a cool experience to hit within 2 yards..

Above that to 60 yards is an achievement…..

And above 60 anything shot consistent is a trophy in the field, I would say….

And if you can do it with iron sights then “Wheeew” 8) you’re the winner here with air power….

Crowpopper : You record stands with powder burners

Ooops airtight_python just took away the record πŸ™„

With airguns; 70+ yards on birds and headshots on cottontails with iron sighted Benjamin pump gun. Milk jugs at 120 yards with the same gun. 100+ yards on water birds with the Condor.

Firearm; 250 yard whitetail shot with .30-06. Hit twice as my uncle mistakenly shot at the same one and also hit it.

I could shoot better as a youth than I can now. When you do it all the time it’s instinctive… no need to get fancy with the chronographs, fancy pellets and all the bullshit I have now. πŸ˜†

A couple of weekends ago, saw a beer bottle floating down the columbia river about 75 yards out, just about 2″ of neck sticking up.
Shot with the S410 and a 18gr JSB. *Tink* *Blub*
My wife told everybody about it where she works, then caught hell from some dick about how illegal it is to shoot in the water.

When I was a kid, shot a Loon in heavy wind over 100yards out with a Daisy Powerline and a BB. First shot was many feet left and about another many feett low. Second shot I just aimed about there and shot, hit it in the head.
This old indian fella wanted me to try, and he retrieved the bird when it blew ashore. Used the feathers for flies.
