Thanks guys. Ill aready clean all but with the original gimme those shims. Maybe i take some material out of this brass hammer an let it at 90 gr.
Thanks for your help. i will made a complete chrony to see how it work in this week.

I doubt you’ll break anything with your current set-up. If it get’s less consistent, just take it apart, clean and re-lube the area where the hammer slides with graphite. (or your favorite dry lube)

For the stock Talon valve I wouldn’t exceed the weight of the Talon hammer plus the hammer weight for the Condor…

Or if you decide to go heavier you may not want to use the full preload for the power wheel…

Excellent question, i’d like to know the real answer as well…

In fact im not looking for more power but in fact the regularity i get now.
My worry was not to broke the valve just that.
Im happy with regular 800-810 fps and no “losen” shots wich i had before.
Before to install this hammer the airgun work fine but every 8-10 shots give one at less power.
Now work perfect.

i dont think that their is a “max” weight but what i have found is that if your useing a hammer that is too heavy for the valve your power wheel will have no effect on the muzel velocity since the hammer carries too much momentum even at the lowest power setting….this is what happened to me with my first home made hammer at 0-0 it was 900pfs and at 12-0 it was 900pfs (with some variation in speed of course) but all in all no change in speed just fast..
