Yep I tried Lurkers right handed bolt and he’s right much easier to cock gun and shoot. Did I really say Lurker was right??? :suprisedn:

Alcanara,
If you’re right handed switch the bolt to the right side. You’ll have better control. Still mussle action is the opposite of a PB.
Give it a little time for the action to loosen up and check out some posts that mention honing the bolt slot.
BTW, the safety should easily be set before cocking but some have needed a slight adjustment of the hard to disconnect trigger link and can benefit from a little honing of the safety slide. Careful though there is a hidden detent ball bearing and a tiny spring under the safety slide. After a game of hide-n-seek I found mine and got it re-installed.

Just make sure you have everything you need to start shooting. Pellets, air, scope, scope mounts, bipod, bipod rail and such. Just make sure you clean barrel and start shooting it. Get to know the gun before you start thinking about what needs changing. She will perform that is pretty much a guarantee. PS make sure you LOCK down bolt when you load and cock gun. I sometimes forgot and would get light puff of air in the face.

Hi eelect, I have had this a couple of times on my Vulcan (.22). I am not sure of the process that led to this… so what are you saying exactly… I am clearly not locking it as you suggest???

cheers

stuart

I already did. But not that way.

Innovative…don’t shoot your mirror out, kid.

In Texas the laws are a little gray, Airguns are not firearms and are exempt from all firearm laws that I know of.
Our city has a code no air guns or BB guns discharged in the city limits, No BB guns or air guns in you vehicle after dark.
I do not live in the city,
Mike

Don’t know if it’s illegal to shoot out of truck on private land.

In California, it’s illegal to shoot any animal from or touching your vehicle while shooting. It doesn’t matter if it’s public or private property.
