Q:

Meet The .25 Cal Edgun Brothers

I thought you guys would enjoy seeing some pics of how I set-up these guns. This is my second set-up of scopes. Hope you enjoy the pics.

Here’s the daytime set-up 25 cal Edgun with Nikko Diamond 10-50×60 Scope:

And here’s my 25 Cal Edgun with a Yukon 2.5×50 Night Vision Scope. Not happy with this set-up. Gonna get the mag doubler and see how that works out. Probably need a better manufacturer Gen 2 model.

And, lastly here’s a picture of the Ed Brothers along with their cousin Crick:

I hope you enjoyed these pics.

Sounds like fun. I shot my first vole here in Missouri a while back. They always claimed they were here but I haven’t seen them before.

Name your game! Florida literally crawls with every beast and reptile you can imagine.

Imagine a state where there are Boa constricter hunts!

I lived down there for a time and and went on a guided Vole hunt. One of the “bush beaters” was taken down by a big bull and got chewed up real good… but he got patched up, and we went on to take 15 mature Voles, six bulls and nineteen cows!

We donated half the meat to a home for unwed mothers, and butchered the rest for ourselves.

Great time!

What do you shoot at night down there? 🙂

As far as the noise. I really don’t pay attention because I can and do shoot 50 cal in my area so noise is really not an issue for me. I do know that it’s a lot quieter than the 50 cals. 😀

Actually the Edguns and Crickets are very quiet but then again, I’m told that I have ‘convenient hearing’ so I’m really not a good judge.

Hoot – I don’t think I’ll buy a Gen 2. I’m going to hook up a ND-3; they work pretty good on a scoped gun.

Don’t bother getting another nite scope unless you can try it out. One of our members bought one and the claimed magnification was zippo…..

When he challenged the maker, they just told him the magnification is “different” on nite vision scopes…..

I don’t think Gen2 is worth the money. There are better ways to see in the dark. You might not be satisfied with the magnifier for these items, as you might lose more than you gain.

Check out some of the posts in the “Optics and Nightvision” section. There is some really good info in there.

Machine,
