I actually saw a weird looking Santa Claus running around the Village. He was wearing nothing but a pair of red leather trunks and a red Santa hood. I called him ” Hi Uncle, wait” , but he just run away while laughing like a deranged Hyena. Weird – the Xmas really is somewhat magical time .. :whistle:

Looks like the Vulcan already wins on the look and likely the mag loader and the lever. Your review can tell us more on that and the other things that matter more: accuracy, quietness, robustness, feel, etc.
Ok. To me consistency, tuneability, accuracy, robustness and feel are the main attributes. Looks and noise take the back seat.
I will put in direkt comparison against the Compact and .25 WB. It already wins the looks-contest and if the reversible ( lett or right side) loading works well it’ll be a winner in that regard too. I’m a bit so-so about the mag. The Cricket mag is simple and sturdy while the Vulcan mag is much more complex, a’ la Daystate or such. I’m not a fan of plastic mags and ie the FX Royal breach mags are a POS design of the lowest order : Flimsy pieces of plastics and a lousy spring .
We’ll see about it’s accuracy but CZ barrels are always good shooters in both AG and PB so it’s ultimately up to the reg i quess.
They say it’s on par with EG and Cricket and gives 90 steady shots from a fill ( the AT is 280cc as on a STD Cricket) but them manufacturers tend to be very enthusiastic when they give out these specs. We’ll see.

I don’t think it will be in another cathegory but more like a little different approach to a BP. It will have vey,very hard time if it wants to be a better shooter than any of the Crickets i’ve owned.
It’s sized as a STD Cricket BTW. Not as short as the Compact.
From what I saw in the specs, the Vulcan should have a similar length to a cricket standard (670-680mm) and not as small as the compact (630mm). that’s why I still went for the compact despite the Vulcan announcement knowing that the Vulcan is a different category. Will be looking eagerly for your review Ville!

It appears to be a well thought out bullpup. I like the glowing air gauge for night use. Handles Polymags. A nice stock.
