The elites have been in the opium game for a long long time. Ain’t nothing changing =)

Must be nice to make so much money off of what is nearly slave labor.

Good article on FPI from the early 2000’s.

It’s more than just that HO
besides the Guards & Lawyers there are the billions that flow into support industries
for example do convicts build their own prisons anymore?
nope, not really…that’s all done by State or Federal contractors
How about food?
used to be most prisons had prison farms which were basically minimum security outside the walls the raised much of the food for the cons inside the walls
thats really not how it works in most of the USA anymore…it’s mostly supplied by private contractors who rake in millions selling out of date stock at full tilt cost
then at the Federal level you have UNICOR…look into it
it’s basically a middleman set up that obtains mostly DOD contracts that are filled using American slave labor. The average wage paid to inmates is well under a buck an hour and the goods produced are sold to the military-industrial complex at full retail rate…no savings to the nation but those involved as shareholders, {primarly former Judiciary and Politicians} rake in enormous profits in their dividends
and of course there is the treatment industry, probation and parole services
also think in terms what the typical electrical bill paid out to a private utillity is!
point is while Prisons were once close to self supporting today they are gaping black holes that tax dollars vanish within and there are those who are making incredible fortunes from feeding the system

quote Hoot:

I realize it would lower our taxes, and probably balance the budget, but I’ve got to take a stand here!

Sometimes, Holdover…you’ve got to do the wrong thing, even if it’s right! (whatever that means…)

Personally, I’d lace every incoming shipment of cocaine with cyanide, sell it on the streets at half price, or even “two for the price of one”, and thin the herd.

If we can get their breeding population low enough, they can’t recover. Then our biggest problem will be cleaning up the caucuses. We could probably sell the meat to N. Korea…tell them it’s rat, or dog meat, or something.

I’ll second that!

Legalize that shit and the problem goes away

What do ya mean Hoot? and give up all that dirty money???

What are trying to do ? send people to the unemployment line??

I agree with you 100%and you would put a huge dent in gang violence too !

BUT (thats a big but)A large amount of imprisoned people are in prison for drugs or drug related charges but do you realize that prisons would begin to shut down correction officers would begin loseing jobs Lawyers would lose a lot of lucrative business , Oversized police depts would begin chopping slots as the crime rate plummeted.the DEA would become unnecessary, and shut down.

The whole criminal justice system would take massive cuts across the board as their jobs became redundant or unnecessary. Billions in Asset seizures would be lost. CIA would be hard pressed to fund their black book operations without congressional approval.

Illegal drugs are what fund the justice dept and give them relevance . why would the police even search your car anymore?? spare change??suspicion of what? dead people? drugs have become part of the economy and in this day and age , cutting the economy and putting people on the street isnt going to fly to well with middle class voters .

Imagine a governor who slashed millions from the budget and put thousands of people out of work try to get re-elected. Good luck with that. They dont want to do the right thing , they are souless self serveing douchbags who can give a fuck about their country.

Dont get me wrong, I think its the best thing we could do for our country, but not the best thing for politicians

Remember General Smedly Butler saying war is a racquet??? it extends to the war on drugs .

I just watched a trailer of that movie and am so angered/outraged that I’m heading out to find a middle eastern embassy to pillage…..

Wonder how many of those Guns were supplied by Eric Holder? Opps, “Executive Privilege” guess that question is hitting a little close to home or should I say White House 🙄

I’m interested in seeing the other six vids to see how this makes a Mormon connection.

X2!

Nobody is innocent when it comes to drugs. We are the cause of the problem, not the solution.

Legalize that shit and the problem goes away and becomes a healthcare issue. We can legally let a drug user die from lack of free medical care, or overdoses. It’s against the law to shoot the stupid bastards, bastardettes, and bastardlets…

Fuck ’em if they can’t take a joke!
