Q:

MH shroud wow!

Well I found out that even with the hammer slap gone that these rifles are too loud and my neighbor was getting a little testy about my firing the rifle so I was ready to order another AH shroud when I stumbled upon the MH shrouds on the forum and figured I would try it out.

I received it and this thing is built like the military units very solid and fit the next best thing to a pressed fit, and meets the frame like it was made on the rifle 🙂 I had it anodized black courtesy of “yellowninja” and it’s one pretty piece of equipment.

I zeroed it in and usually when I zero the rifle in all the birds would fly away but not with this baby on and I just cannot believe that
it’s this quiet no hammer slap and just enough pfft to know that you fired a rifle but that’s it and I thought my AH shroud was extremely quiet but now I know different.

In all fairness when I had the AH shroud I didn’t have a vented frame but no way the vented frame makes this big of a difference or there wouldn’t be a debate about vented frame making the rifle quieter.

Thanks MH and YN this shroud is just plain awesome.

Somebody missed the shroud section when they moved this? )

I have heard shrouds on a .25 TT tuned Condor at the range that sound like the gun is sick and then as if by magic the object downrange is destroyed…

The most noise your going to make now is the ‘thwack’ when the pellet makes contact!

Click, pffft -THWACK! 😈

I zeroed the rifle in right next to where my bird feeders are (I have about 20 feeders) and they went about their business like nothing was happening lol it was too cool. I had hoped I wasn’t going to need a shroud but neighbor decided to pitch a fit over the noise.

Looks like we met your goal for a shroud that doesn’t draw any unnecessary attention.

As long as nobody actually sees the rifle… 😆 Man these things look badass after they get all pimped out! I just don’t get tired looking at photos of these rifles and the great work lots of folks on this forum do for fun!! Fucking awesome.

Nice work guys!!!
