Q:

micro meter tank or co2

I am considering getting either a C02 set up for my Talon or a micro meter tank. What are your opinions of each. I would still use the main tank for hunting but would like a low velocity option for backyard target shooting. Does anybody use a micro tank? About how many shots do you get per fill in .22 Thanks for your input.

Both have their advangeges.

CO2 = cheap, readily available, no pumping

micro-meter = more consistent and not prone to change velocity with the weather/temperature.

Both result in really high shot counts with reduced velocity.

If you anticipate shooting outdoors during winter/cooler weather (below 70 degrees), you’d probably be a little better off with the micrometer version. (or just get both).
