Q:

Micrometer or standard tank ?

I’m new to Airforce guns, I trying to decide on witch one to get. I’m ordering a Talon SS 12″ barrel in .177 and .22 barrels opt with spin-loc tank with sound-loc. Reading the post in this forum and I’m confused in witch tank to get. Pros and cos please.

It depends on what you want to do. If all you intend to do is short range plinking, get the micrometer. For some reason, I do not think that is the case.

Go with the standard. If you want to reduce the power level and conserve air, put an o-ring behind the top hat on the valve stem. It is simple and quick to do and will give you similar performance of the micrometer.

Also, if you decide you would like to up the power a bit, you can get a high flow valve stem from one of the guys around here.
