MicroMeter Tank – Loose Valve Head
Howdy Gents,
I just received my inaugural order from Pyramid Air. Condor in .22, 24 inch barrel, pump, extra micrometer tank, scope and a spread of pellets.
Besides the fact that the AF pump they shipped me had no fill adapter, totally gimping my weekend plans, I noticed the valve head on the micrometer tank, which I believe is referred to as the “top hat” is very loose, and spinning freely. Upon noticing this, I looked at the Condor HiFlo and while not as loose, it definitely can be turned with little finger effort.
From some of the reading I’ve been doing, controlling the height of this top hat is crucial to tuning, which leads me to my question:
What the heck do I do now?

So I just got off the phone with Pyramyd Air.
They never shipped the package. They boxed it, printed the label, but it never made it out the door.
For the love of god, ladies and gentlemen, please try and keep your money away from pyramyd air. This is now the second weekend I drive 4 hours each way for a “great airgunning weekend” that doesn’t happen.
I honestly feel insulted, I paid a premium for expedited shipping on the first order, called them up, received the wrong part, and then they fail to ship the correct part outright.
The customer support rep was nice enough, but at this point an “I’m really sorry about that” makes me wish I had known about talon tunes before I went with these (from my perspective) incompetent and too big-to-care retailers.
