I am thinking those are really weak because of the foreign market. Perhaps there will be a U.S.A. version…if not, I am sure it is an easy fix to upgrade the power.
I wrote Joao (he is a U.S. distributor of Hatsan PCP’s…) but I have not heard from him yet. I only wrote him today. I will post what I find out from him….

It’s a sweet looking rig alright!
If a fella was to put a longer barrel and air cylinder on it, it is very likely that the valve and ports could be “adjusted” to bring the power up to our specs.
I don’t believe our machinists would have any problem with that, or at least lengthening the barrel and making a screw on extension for that tiny (50 cc) air cylinder.
Still, 399 QUID ($647 USD) is a stiff starting point to begin modification.

This is odd…I received an “informal” reply from Joao, or rather, from his company. In it I was told that that particular pistol is for the UK market as “LDC”‘s are legal there…the e-mail actually suggested a PROD. I suppose this was in response for me wanting to trade in my “too loud” AT 44 on this new pistol. Regardless, the e-mail did say that this pistol is not available here at this moment…
