Q:

Minisniping

Had some fun today re-living the mini-sniping days of my youth. Dollar store plastic army men at 30 yards. This guy didn’t fair too well……

That brings back my childhood…

thanks for the info

quote PANDEMIC:

wolfeman – what shroud do you have on the condor in the picture who did you buy it from, how long is it, how quite is it, and how much did it cost?

Gun looks great and are you shooting a 12″ barrel or and 18″ barrel out of that

It’s an 8″ TT shroud in front of a 18″ barrel. It’s MUCH quieter than without the shroud. I paid Tony $185 and would buy another without hesitation. He’s a great guy to deal with and makes quality products.

Had some time tonight after dinner. The air was very still and I set out some more dollar store green plastic army men at 50 yards. I was only able to recover one. Trigger pull was EVERYTHING.

In the below photo is a better pic of my .22 Condor and the shooting lane behind it. If I did my math right, a 50 yard shot on a 1.75″ plastic army man is equivalent to a 2,057 yard shot on a 6′ tall target. I was pretty stoked. I love this stuff.

I do that every summer. Set up a “airgun battlefield” that stretches from 25-80 yards in my shooting lane.

I picked up a garbage bag full of those things at a junk shop last year for $2.

My favorite shot so far, I had a plastic red indian (full draw with a bow) aiming at a blue UN soldier about 10 yards away (the indian was just past the 50 yard mark). The indian was behind the UN soldier, all I could see was his head.
The S410 lopped off his head nicely and the UN soldier was untouched LOL.

As RC said, its not much of a challenge for that particular rifle but a fun way to pass the afternoon.

Are those the ones that come in green and tan?

I have been shootig green army men for 56 years. I got my daughter who is 28 involved in it with the Royale and the AAS410 before that.

40 yards is really too easy for the Royale, but still fun.

Regards,

Roachcreek
