Modified Gunpower Stealth 100 Yard Shooting UPDATED!!!
Hi guys, I managad to get out today and do some shooting out to longer ranges. Using 16 grain logun penetrators going about 850 fps.
I first zeroed the scope on at 50 yards producing 1/2″ groups with a slight breeze.
Then moved the target out to 100 yards to see what she could do.

This was my target. A roses chocolate tin lid taped to a large piece of sheet metal.

This is the target 100 Yards away. (The small square on the horizon of the field)

This was the view through the 3-9×40 scope I have at the moment. (I had to aim the start of the thicker crosshairs at the top of the sheet)

This was my first 3 shot group (One of them hitting just outside the target.) The second shot is just behiend the tape)

I then dialed in my windage and fired multiple shots, This was what the target ended up looking like, I noticed some grouped really well (3 touching holes near the centre, Some touching and close double holes.)

And where I was shooting from
I think when I get a 24″ barrel I will have more speed and the shots will be more consistant so groupings should improve

Right guys, managed to go out again to do some long range shooting that was pleased with my results.
The gun:
Gunpower stealth modified
Ported and polished
Shooting kodiaks at an average of 800 fps with a high of 830 and a low of 785 over 20 shots.
Still using my 12″ barrel but this time the bushing grub screws were tight 😛
These are some 55 yard groups with a .223 cartridge for scale.

This group was 1.67″ c-t-c
This group was 2.825″ c-t-c
This group was 2.5″ c-t-c
And the last and best group was 1.25″ c-t-c
Then I stretched it out to 100 yards and got this group at 4.5″ The far bottom hole wasnt part of the group, that was from my brothers .223

Cant wait till I get this 18″ barrel
Oh and I now have found that I need a bigger scope. I have a 3-9×40 at the moment and even at 55 yards, the crosshairs cover the dot so I think I could shrink those 55 yard groups to atleast under an inch.
Might look at something like 6-24×44
