motion alarm?
I’m looking for something to alert me if there’s a raccoon or whatever in the yard, I think someone mentioned this a while back…

It works great! The “C” batteries last a long time while the 9 volt in the sensor needs changing every six months or so.
Even the low setting is loud, so I wrap mine ie a beach towel…that quiets it down just fine. If I were skilled in electronics, I would figure out where to place a resistor to quiet it down. 😉

I use one that the local hardward stores carry. Not as fancy as that one you are looking at but works real good. I don’t use it in the house. I usually set up some bait and use the truck as a blind-I hunt a lot of farm yards and the coons, possums, rats and whatever are used to having the cars and trucks around. I think I paid 12 dollars for the last one I got. Give it a try- should work fine.
