Oh and the run time on the little led lenser light is un real. I have been on the same batteries since i bought it and it still is just as bright.
I bought another led lenser ,one that they carry at lowes that has adjustable beam for i think $44.00 and is i think 105 lumen’s.
Butt that light old goat is talking about looks pretty good.
Thats a fine set up old goat.that gun would look good on my wall for sure.
edward, its not a big deal.
just buy some of the closed cell foam tube at lowes for insulating pipe.cut it to the length you want to make the pellet holder.
Then flatten it out,.
lay out the pellet hole lines on it with a pencil and poke the holes thru it with something small and tapered, like a nail or small sharpened center punch. You cant drill it worth a darn ,because the drill bit will catch on the material and bunch up. and you dont want to take any material out of the hole as to make the hole as tight as possible.
and work out the holes so to just barely to be able to get the pellet in the hole. this is important so they wont come out with handling the gun.
The hole size needs to be smaller than the pellets and very tite at first , the hole will work it self out with use.
The red piece is the side of a plastic folgers coffee container. The container is about the right size for the air force tank to start with so you dont have to work it much.
Take the reb plastic back and cut it smaller that your foam size. to not be able to see it from the front.
Know take your zip ties and put them together and slide them over a small propane bottle
with the red back piece under the zip ties
, you can tighten them because the bottle is bigger than the air force bottle.
Position the square bump on the zip tie to be beside the foam or next to the red piece, as to not be in the way,i put mine to the bottom.so to not be by my cheek when sighting the rifle.
Now take your foam cover it with goriilla glue , and put it over the red plastic back piece.
Now take a ace bandage and wrap it around the whole bottle to hold the foam to the back piece to dry, over night.
When you get ready to mount it ,tighten the zip ties just enought to keep it on the air force tank, so you can work the pellet holder off the tank in case you want to work on the valve or something.
You wil notice the holder on the far right is the regular foam type, it is easier to get the pellets in and out of but they will fall out with hanleing.
I make it by just running the zip tie thru hole in the foam to hold it on.
This was my first try at building a pellet holder.
Any way hope this might help out any one who has not thought of a way to build a holder.
I got this one. http://www.kaidomain.com/ProductDetails.aspx?ProductId=5558
I cut up a 1″ scope mount and used it to mount the light on my Edgun. I have used it to shoot a sparrow at 87 yards. He was sitting on top of a grain elevator. That was the longest shot I had, I am sure that it would be good out to at least 100 yards.
230 lumins and is stupid bright, I could not believe how bright it is! $39.95, you have to pay another $20 for the charger and battery. If you order one, get the regulated 18650 battery. You can get a remote switch for it, the rear switch works for me.
I went to the Candlepower forum, looking for a small, bright LED light. Most of the people there thought that the Radfire Spear was the best “thrower”. Radfire decided to stop selling the Spear and the Chinese company that made it for them now has the production rights for it.

The tip finger push button light that has a mount for the scope that comes with the gamo varmint hunter is sick . Don’t know if it’s avaliable separate but worth a look the beam is long and bright with a squeeze of the finger http://www.airgunsbbguns.com/Gamo_Varmint_Hunting_Scope_p/gmo621204515.htm
for a second there powerburner, i thought that was a cup holder for your beer next to your grip 😆 😆 maybe that is something that i need to have wok make me
go to home depo , Led Lenser 39.99
90 Lum. make shots beyond 50 yards, just fine
use11mm , 1” scope rings to mount

This sucker is too brite,!!

These little guys aren’t cheap, but they are my #1 choice in a serious compact weapon light. The TLR 2 has a built in laser as well. Both have optional remote wires, but I just use the swing switch that comes on them.

As a bit of a flashlightaholic I can tell you there are lots of choices for mountable flashlights.
I did a lot of looking and then bought a couple of Malkoff (www.malkoffdevices.com) flashlights. His MD2 with M60 (about $105) is one of the best lights I think you can buy. VERY well built and VERY bright (230 lumens). They are a little pricey but the 1″ body mounts great in standard scope mounts and is very easy to mount to a weapon. If you REALLY want light, one of the WildCats will light up a whole tree like it was daytime.
For just a little less money I think the Surefire 6P led is a great second choice at about $85 and not near as bright at about 80 lumens. Really any of the surefires are great lights.
