I joined Starling Talk a while back to lightly hone my knowledge of this plump, speckled, alien to the great US of A. The forum covers “everything positive” about the European Starling (talk about an oxymoron, eh). If they only knew how I’ve put to use the wisdom they’ve bestowed upon me.

Anyway, some of the bathetic crap they write covering this little black scourge is truly worth repeating. I think they spend more time caring than I do killing (tear running down my cheek). 
Unfortunately, it’s one of those forums that you have to join to read posts. Since I don’t expect ya’ll to join, though I do highly recommend it, I’ve copied one gem of an example that accurately represents their mind sets.

It has already been done (probably by a fellow airgunner). The mods are lightning quick to pull down such posts followed by a public excoriation. Good idea though. We do think a like around here. 😀
I guess this mental giant has never had a termite infestation in their house.

I am not too far from where this happened, next they should do something with the dam resident canadian geese. Kids soccer fields get so shitted up they cannot play on them. Ponds and lakes here die because of overload with goose shit. They chase them up to the waters edge with trucks here instead of wacking a few!
I think you should start a new thread, something innocent like “are starlings edible by humans?” or “Delicious homemade cat food, with receipe”

The above posts are prime examples of people who are a waste of perfectly good oxygen. Too bad their parents didn’t use birth control.
