MRod Air P12 Update thread
MODERATOR EDIT…This dealer is not allowed to be promoted on this forum
Sorry…
This dealer is not allowed to be advertised here on the forum.
He is the same person who ripped off my WokGard 15 designs.
I am not going to let him profit from this forum since he stole my design
All posts mentioning his forum will be deleted

Hunh?
Guess you weren’t around when the EdGun first got here… :butkick:
Try finding a Lelya for sale. I’ve been looking for a single shot R3 22 long and they are not to be found.
Now try to find a MRod or a Cricket on the classifieds, they are everywhere.
Give it time, people will be looking to trade in their P12 for the next new thing.
Sorry don’t mean to hijack the current topic at hand….
I find it almost humorous that mike had gotten 20 p12s out to the customers
And I haven’t seen one pop up on the classifieds yet!!!!
although I have seen a few first gens come and go.
Not saying this is mrodair’s fault, as I’ve heard that SPA can be as slow as pond water sometimes, but last update on mrodair’s site says that they should be there on 14th of July.?.
He feels hesitant to send final payment without some kind of current, detailed update, again, something he cannot seem to get.
Does anyone have any current news or information?
Respectfully,
aero.
Great news!
I see he’s finally got them! Good for Mike and the Customers that have pre-orders!
Now Mike gets to have fun doing all the mrodair modifications/upgrades before shipping them out…need some help Mike?
Have fun, I know my friend will be happy to see this! :biggrinn:
Take care,
aero.
That’s what I call a modern day gun runner right there!
Great news Guys,
Our shipment was released from customs today !!!!! :6:
I can tell you guys that now I can breathe a little easier.
Customs, can Seize, put on hold, or simply Distroy cargo at will.
I know you guys have been waiting for these, and I really appreciate your patience.
Now we have asked the Broker, to expedite our trucking and they are coming directly to our shop as I am typing this.
I hope you can undertand we chose to wait until they were past customs to collect any payments for them.
Emails being sent this afternoon.
Thanks Guys
We Are Mrodair
Thanks for the update Mike. Let us know what and when you find out.
Hey Guys,
Been working on it.
There was a smaller order sent at our request, and it has already been delivered to our customers.
As for the refund, just shoot me an email, requesting a refund and it’s done.
No worries.
As of this morning our shipment is still in customs.
Customs, has limits on how many days they can keep a shipment for inspection, and they pulled the old “working days” trick on us. :butkick:
Either way, tomorrow is the deadline so we can make a post with some more accurate info then.
We have no control over this. (wish we did) :3:
Meanwhile, I took advantage of the weekend and tricked out a few P-12 stocks.
The picture, really doesn’t do them justice.
They are texture coated, in a 4 part Mil Spec Kevlar based coating, and some added carbon fiber accents.
For more details on the process, just visit the website P-12 Acc page
Hope to have much better news tomorrow.
Thanks Guys
Finally I joined this forum. I placed deposit for p12 and been reading this forum and this thread in particular very closely. Sorry for acting like a kid at Christmas day but is there any update on this shipment?
Gus
I agree that it has taken way too long. I understand that the improvements and changes in manufacturing are all for the better. However, I would not have paid a deposit in February (I think) had I known that it is realistically going to be August before I have the gun in my possession. I was under the impression that I would have it late-April.
While I do appreciate the work that the folks at Mrod Air are doing, I think it would have been a good gesture to offer a full refund of the deposits long ago. I committed to the purchase for gift purposes and have passed on many good deals while waiting for the P12.
I will apologize for bitching and complaining, but I feel the time delay has been excessive. This is why I never ordered an Edgun.
Seams to take a little to long for the people who paid a deposit 5 or 6 months ago. Maybe a smaller order and some would have arrived sooner. Just saying.
Its all good, Mike. If a few days of delay in getting another airgun is the worst thing that happens to us all this week, then we are f#cking golden. Carry on and don’t sweat the small shit.
Hey Guys,
Got the word, our shipment made it to customs.
Wasted 2-3 days, from them wanting to take a peek.
Should have the word tomorrow, on the shipping time to our door.
As usual, if they drag their feet, I will make the trip and pick em up in person.
Just thought you should know.
WOW…very impressive!!!! :suprisedn: I want a .25 with LW barrel :7:

Synopsys…as is often the case with a new product, there will be “Nay-Sayers” before time, testing, and modifications have had time to do their magic. The P12 is not yet an extensively consumer tested pcp. Wingman, a fairly respected pcp expert, although not so much for his choice of species to date, has worked with the Chinese to bring the P12 up to some seriously high standards! The Chinese are willing to listen to people who know what what is needed in a user friendly pcp. Ed did the same thing when he first graced our forum several years ago. His product has benefited from much forum member input, mods, and suggestions. That makes it the gold standard in pcp bullpups today. Because of this, they hold their value.
The P12 has not had it’s day yet…opinions are like assholes, everyone has one and a lot of them stink! Let’s give the new product on the block an honest chance to prove itself, and more importantly…let’s see if the maker continues to respond to consumer input! If the P12 turns out to have a strong start, and positive updates continue to be forthcoming, then a very good product may be in it’s infancy. Like the Edgun, it might be fun to watch it grow and improve…not that’s there’s anything to complain about the current edition.
Mdrod has stuck his sweat and tears into getting this product into our hands, and at a reasonable price! Let’s give the guy a chance to prove himself, and his product an opportunity to do the same!
Time will tell us what we need to think….
