I installed mine at the beginning of July and I have prob 800-1000 rds. through it and I have to say I’m very Happy with mine. I will admit I was a bit concerned paying $355.00 for it but I’m happy I did. Install was a cinch and my gun is shooting better then ever. Mine may be a little harder to cock but not very much and Mine is not rough at all. I’m soooo happy with mine. I’m just wanting a few more magazines to go with it.

Cocking is a little harder, but I’m satisfied with mine. I was a little worried about installing it, but it turned out to be pretty easy to do. I haven’t had much time to shoot it yet, but so far I would say it is exactly what was promised.

I’ve upgraded my r3 to a multishot and right after I installed the kit I realized how rough it was cycling the bolt..and I was really upset because $400 isn’t cheap for a little part for my matador….so I asked around and remember seeing a thread someone put up about the same issue and they grinded down the hammer cocking pin in the breech….

So I did that and it made cocking the bolt smoother…I’m not saying it’s as smooth as the stock single shot but it doesn’t feel like metal grinding or at times the bolt would stop mid pull because of the metal on metal grinding….

In my opinion I see where MG was coming from when he complained about his new r3m not cocking right or not smoothly….I paid $400 for a part that needed work…now Ed would say leave it alone and put 150000000000 pellets through the breech before opening it but in all honesty it shouldn’t be that bad to begin with…..after the mod I will say its good but I was upset that I needed to put work into the damn breech when it was suppose to be a simple drop in.
