Mutant 25 V/S Vulcan 25
Any news on the 25 Mutant? Its 2017 and I thought it would be out by now..
On a side note, The 25 Vulcan with the new cocking arm and the Mag holder with the black synthetic stock has me thinking a very well proven gun
with the things I like , Mag holder is a big ticket for me,
Done lost one of my 22 Mutant mags fell out of pocket or just left it somewhere, Or it just walked away, :whistle:

I agree make sure the product is ready before selling ,
But I was hopping Dman could pull a rabbit out of his hat and tell us the Date, power of the little 25s
And its not so mush the shortness I like, its the light weight. But they kind of go together, short and light weight.

I would have to say the wait for its release is a good thing! As it most likely means they are putting it thru it’s paces , and not rushing it to an over eager market. Ahem FX …

I want one with a 600mm barel or around that mark, so the 34gr can be pushed to 930 fps!
All I can say is that there is a working prototype… they will be testing for accuracy shortly and if all goes wells then they will be put into production. I can’t give any dates right now.
Last I heard the action was loosely based off the .22 action…

I knew the Mutant 25 had a LW barrel , But 600 mm is new to me , Or that’s the standard mutant not the shorty,
If I remember right the 25 shorty was just a few inch’s longer than the 22 shorty. I looked back on the info and could not find it.
I know there was no price ever mentioned So that’s kind of up in the air,
I also heard , and I could be wrong, The 25 Mutant is a whole new gun not just one built around the 22 Mutant,
Just wished we had a time table like June 2018 or something like that, Not so much the exact day but a month give or take a few would be nice.
I am a big Star Trek fan anyway, A Vulcan would sound nice, :rofl:

The mutant can be had with 600mm barrel if I recall. That is longer than Vulcan 450mm barrel, so more power, think of it like a Cricket, it has a 600mm LW barrel

No one has even hinted at the cost of the 25 Mutant.

You might want to weigh the cost difference. Vulcan plus side lever plus mag holder equals ?
