I like it man! That block of wood in front of the display looks like a slight cut on the top right side 🙂

The one thing I have been considering is a deflector on the LED’s. I darn sure don’t want to put a round through those either…need those to go up high and away.
Now the wood block would be ok I guess, but your average 2x wood I would put rounds right through that! If wood was used, it’s going to be wood on steroids to keep Kodiacs and EJ’s from getting through 🙁 That would not be good…

Great looking setup man! A guy like me needs all that sort of stuff. I just always seem to be having to make this, change that and-or tweek something; and you really need to see what it does when you do it!!!

I have no idea on a Veteran Long yet; so the .22 standard is starting to get itchy here… I bought a
8-32 X 60mm with the 30mm tube to go on the long or standard just the other week. Going to get Atlas bipod lever lock to set up on it also.

Getting a new PayPal account setup also, for getting and paying for said stuff also… Dang, got to figure out the air setup to refill also 🙂 bum deal on the 6k nitrogen I had 🙁

Thats going to get pretty pricey I fear. Money gets in the way around here nearly as much as Time. Those two together makes for a real challenge sometimes!

If my shooting chrony goes south I would consider using the cb-625 Chronoscope Mk4 for stringing ……. now it’s just for a quick check on speed when going to the farms I take it with me.

Here’s my home setup ……… for crunching out the data.

You know I bought one of those some years back now, don’t know if it has a port for the interface like this… I will just have to check that.

I do remember when I winged one of my Chrony’s, I was shooting in poor light and getting errors, moving the shot path around, through the Chrony and just a bad thing 🙂 I bought one of these, the one thing I did do was once I got it centered, I used some Scotch 33 to help anchor to the barrel. I just felt better about it with that…

The last Chrony I got, mad sure to get the LED light to help the poor light and get the entire string when tuning.
The interface software and a laptop is another fun and useful toy-tool tool-toy whatever thingymebob 🙂

Dam thangofamybobber Yep I got one of those
Just ordered a new Crony , Fits on the barrel of the gun should be easy to go from gun to gun.
We will see.

That’s very cool Mike ……… once I find alignments, I used small tape markers on the cronys adjustable bracket for a quick reference back for different muzzle centers.

Here’s some more for yah Bud.

Great for people on a tighter budget that can’t afford to buy a Chony, I try it a couple times and it is what it is for free u know.

That’s what I did, DJ Magic Mike. Donny had them made to the same spec as the factory adjuster just with longer finger turning knob deal thingymabopper. I used my caliper’s height gauge or depth gauge and measured how far out the factory adjuster sat and then placed Donny’s at the same depth.

Really, to do this right I should have just busted out he chrony and taken before and after measurements but it was getting dark and I’m lazy. So I just put it in and then busted out the chrony the next day and got myself where I wanted to be and Strelok agrees with my settings. :tag:

Thanks guys,
Got my 25 parts in the mail, I will try and adjust them as near as OEM, then adjust them from there.
Mike

Sorry to hear that Mike.

Dang Mike,

Hate to hear about all that stuff. Its never easy and no way to sugar coat stuff either…

I bought both, I got the 22 parts in, waiting for the Veteran 25 part that he was going to send me.
If I do not get it in a few days I will lobe a Email at him as a reminder.
Been pretty crazy around here the last few weeks,
Been putting friends six foot under is never easy,
15 years in Hospice you would think, I was like steel,
More like a bowel of jello.

glad to hear it works well.

I’ll hold out until one is available in matte black or matte silver like the cocking handle.
