Q:

Mutant short as a truck gun?

Hi guys,

So I’m thinking about buying a taipan mutant short as I think it would be a more suitable hunter than my Webley Longbow. I usually shoot from my car window and the longbow, while somewhat compact of a rifle (39″) is still kinda cumbersome inside the vehicle. Any of you guys shot a mutant short from a vehicle? How was your experience?

Also, the mutant short seems to have a really small fore-end. Do you guys find that’s it’s lacking a bit or no biggie?

I would probably have to sell the Longbow to fund the Mutant. Hmm… Rich black bluing in a beautiful Walnut stock for an ash wood blocky stock? I don’t know if I can do it. 😀

don’t listen to Oakey, he’s full of shit. He shoots crows from his car in NYC

Roger that.

I shoot in a private ranch with permission. I’ll check the local laws though.

James you can’t shoot no Baby Mutant out of your car or truck window. Where the hell are your ethics? I wouldn’t recommend this. I just wouldn’t. I mean you easily could break the law with the so mentioned gun but you might get into trouble if caught. I think it is the perfect gun to get yourself into trouble with however being licensed to freely run my yapper on TAG could end up with a dismissal of my TAG license so I am not recommending you do this. The Baby is cute and does easily kill things at good distances. It’s quiet as quiet and very accurate. James DON’T GET IN TROUBLE. And did I mention storing small air rifles in racquetball case’s is just suspicious if ever caught. However Keyser would never do this honestly he is a great Racquetball player

Heres the solution … keep the Webley Longbow and buy a mutant. ….

Lol! Ok ok, well thanks anyways. Illegal? Must be because of the drive by paintball shooting teenagers.

Now I just need to think about selling my longbow long and hard.

Well I NEVER shoot critters out of my car, that’s illegal in my state. So how would I know if the baby mutant was the perfect truck gun? I mean I would never rest the gun on the window, nor would I notice if the nice little flat forend sits nicely out of the window. I also wouldn’t be able to tell you that the only downside to the baby mutant is the gun is so short it is easy to be aiming at your side mirror when you think you’re on a critter. I wouldn’t know anything about that.

Wish I could tell you about using this perfect truck bullpup (in theory) and being able to hide it whenever necessary.

I mean I really wouldn’t have room for the mutant in my car anyway, I am more interested in racquetball…
