Q:

Mutant Short, new owners, your average shot count and Es?

any new owners had a chance to quantify your Short’s efficiency for shot count and Es?

Hi Dman,
would you call that an average Es for 30 shots, if that’s the average shot count per fill. If so, I agree that’s pretty damn good. I’ll see how my Short performs when I get it back. Anything beats the 22 fps Es mine was getting for 30 shots. That’s worse than the 18 fps\Es I got from my FX Timberwolf at 31.7 fpe. I definitely like your numbers better.
thanks again,
Darryl

thanks Foxback. I’d seen those, but was wondering if there was any new information. My Short is out for irregular performance (large Es numbers), and I’m trying to get a sense of what to expect as a general performance average. I know a lot depends on several factors, but I thought I might get a general idea with a bit more info.

Darryl most of these guns … untouched out the box can expect 10 – 14 fps spread. Through the entire shot string.

Which is not bad at all… most would never notice unless they ran it over a chrony.

Just syncing the hammer with the regulator will tighten it up some….
