Mutant Std
My new to me mutant arrived the other day and i have to say that I am very impressed! I think that it holds up to what everyone here has to say: Trigger is very clean and predictable, action is smooth, and fit is comfortable. Add to the bullpen an Aeon 6-24 mil dot and I think I have a hunter. Initially impressions are that the sound is much quieter than I had expected. My first and only shot string so far has been great!
Filled her up to 235 bar and setup shop. First mag used about 20 bar but next 5 dropped to 15 bar/mag.

10 shots (crony missed first 2)
ES: 14 fps
average: 913 fps
Mag 2:
11 shots (crony missed first)
ES: 11
average 917 fps
Mag 3:
12 shots
ES: 12
Average 910 fps
Mag 4:
12 shots
ES: 8
Average 907 fps
Mag 5:
12 shots
ES: 26 fps
Average 903.5 fps
Mag 6
10 shots (crony missed last 2)
ES: 26
Average 891.5 fps
I am very happy with this acquisition and can’t wait to get some more trigger time.

Yep same problem. I dropped so low as to put out dog food and white bread for bait. Thing is it all located 40 ft so I can’t use my mutant in that close.
I need a place to hunt too. The starling and crows seem to have the message and do not come around any more…
That’s a bunch of shots. I haven’t went through a mag yet. I shot 8 shots and know I’ve got a hunter just no place to hunt.

Lol naw no exploding arrows needed. I’ve got a .17 backpacker carbine 4 pumps and a polymag, sparrows don’t have a chance at 40′. Deadly for my inside the fence shots.
