Q:

Mutant with the L barrel

I think the 25 cal is a much better hunting pellet, but with my Mutant shootint the Polymags 16gr great it just closes the field a little .
The 22 polymags make a clean trough hole with a large exit hole on the euro doves , I got my JSBs 16grs in but have not tried them yet ,
got some barracuda hunters that I have not tried either 18.21 gr , Forgot I had them, about three tins,,, Maybe the Cricket might like the bigger lead? Been popping sparrows and a few Euro doves at 48 yards, and a few at the close 38 yard feeder…
The little mutant is just so light and easy to swing up to shoot the Crickets have been collecting dust,,,
When the new wears off I will start rotating the guns ,
I have never cleaned the barrel yet will do that tomorrow.
I would like to thank dman for his loss , Maybe he will give me a discount on a Edgun in the future, :smilen: :smilen: :smilen:

Mine seems to like both 15.9 and 18.1s stock pretty well but I also give the edge to the 18.1s. I will try the Predators in a bit today. I never had much luck with .22 Predators in any gun. I always thought it was the pellet. It would be great if they shot well. I have a lot of them on hand too.

The Listone barrel might be less picky…

This is the only 22 that has shot the polymags good, My 22 cricket has two or three flyers in a eight shot group with the Polymags.
Maybe a CZ barrel thing?

Mike,
I only shoot JSB 18.1 in my Mutants. I don’t have luck with 15.9s in the past. I might test it more if I have good pellets. JSB keep changing it, which drives me crazy.

I am sure you have a different barrel than me, But what pellet is your Mutant shooting,
Thanks
Mike

Mike, glad to hear you like the Shorty. It appears that you had a great time.
My edguns and P12 are collecting dusts since 2 mutants arrived…
