my .177 mutant
Big thanks for making my dream come true Jaime. don’t have much data other than Jaime says it shoots an average of 885 with 10.34s. Straight out of the box it shooting 13.4s 745 and i’ve been told i can turn it up another 25 to 30 fps. right now it’s perfect for my back yard. i just love it, going to be a fun little bull pup. it’s still a little louder then my std.

How was the pellet probe made? Or were you able to somehow get one from the factory. I would totally buy a Taipan Mutant.177 it’s a shame they don’t offer one. I’ve been tempted to trade my EdGun Matador Short .25 for a Mutant Shorty. Maybe if I get a Mutant I could source a barrel and have it converted to .177. I’m becoming obsessed with the smaller calibers lately because I usually have .25 PCP’s.

Far as I know it’s a probe from the factory Airbrained. I really like it and can’t figure why they stopped making them. I’ve got it turned down 1 1/4 turn out. It’s sure a great shooter or at least to me it is lol.
