My 5 year old 1st airgun. (Dad’s proud moment)
This is the day I’ve been waiting on.
I was out in the garage cleaning one of my airguns (logun solo 20) and my 5 year old came down stairs and asked me if he could shoot it. OF COURSE, I SAID YES of course. This is not his 1st shooting session.
Even though my 5 year old is as tall as a 8 year old, i could easily tell, the gun was a bit uncomfortable for him to shoulder even though the gun was rest in a chair and i was behind him.
Of course, it then hit me, “its time. It’s time for my boys 1st airgun”. Of course i have plenty of guns but, which one for my son? What do i have that’s small enough for right now but has the ability for him to still shoot it much later in life? Why of course, my adjustable and shrouded 2240. It’s PERFECT! Not a lot of power, compact and super quiet. But its powerful enough to reach out to 50 yards accurately even with a Red Dot scope. AaaaaHAAAA, a Red Dot scope is even easier to look through for a child. ITS PERFECT!
Here is the gun in original form before I Modded and shortened it:

Aaaaaah! Daddy’s Proud!
