my compressors
these are my 2 pumps , ive worked on them to get them working to the best i can , but im not sure what they should run like ,
they both had motors built into the body above the 3 pump cylinders , neither worked so i rip them apart an put a v belt going to a motor mounted beside it , they work ok now , but not as good as they may have .
not sure what rpm im running , or if they should be run faster when they are older .
i think they are near 1700rpm , i get 2500psi from one an the other is only 1600 .
any one with info can give me some ideas .
or anyone who finds one of these compressoers an the motor if skrewed may want to try choping it an belt running them ,

Jez, I would bet you need 3600rpm there on those compressors.
Gas engines are governed there and AC motors are run there so I would presume those will need the same speed.
What brand are they?
Once you get them spinning good check the interstage pressures and see what psi you get from each stage. You likely should get near 300 out of first, 1000 out of 2nd and 3,000 out of third.
