Q:

My condor is behaving funny..

Yeah.. the trigger sear won’t catch sometimes..
And there’s sometimes a really low velocity pellet there…

I’m blaming this in the poorly designed hammer. ): <

But is it the hammer?

I used a dry teflon film lubricant, it might be chattering a bit. But havn’t had the “drop” since I applied it… but not that I shot it after I applied it, Yet.

Dry graphite work ok. You can buy it in a spray can at the auto parts store. The carrier will evaporate in a few minutes leaving a graphite film in the frame.

Stretch the sear spring a wee bit.

I placed in a somewhat sturdier spring, it catches fine now.. I’ll have to see about the sometimes sudden power loss though. (6 shots full power, next shot about 20 percent left, then full power again, kind of random)

Make sure the bolt is “clicks” on to the top hat and is fully seated closed. Also you will want to put some dry lubricant were the hammer rides.

The hammer is either chattering or the bolt is not fully seated.

Stretch the sear spring a wee bit.

Clean your gun, inspect all parts, replace what is defective

all must work in harmony so a bit premature to blame the hammer.

ask yourself…

Did this thing ever work?
When did it change?
How did that change manifest itself?
