Q:

My condor ss .25

I got this from air force as a blemished discounted model. It looks like it has something mounted to the lower rail like a bipod and had some wear on the spin-lock thing. So I think it was used or a demo model…

I got the scope and bipod mounted then I lowered the power wheel as low as I could and it got stuck there so o had to take gun apart to fix the power wheel. No prob it’s good now.

Took a shot through the combros and its at 50ft-lbs! Trigger is kinda heavy. Not much louder than my mrod.

The balance is even and its light weight after scope and bipod is mounted, it’s excellent and easily my favorite aspect of the rifle so far. The scope is low to the bottle with medium rings but it’s not as bad as I thought it would be. I may still get high rings thoughs.

I spent a few hours at the indoor range today and shot a few pellets through the condor. The gun was shooting around 55 ft-lbs with power wheel on 0, only giving me around 17 shots with a bell curve. The gauge was in the red, almost all the way to the top of it, but it was only at 3000psi according to my tank.

Nothing was as good as the JSB exacts at 50yrds, i only tried benji domes, barricudas, polymags, H&N hunter extremes and hunters. The H&N hunters came
very close I wish I had more of them to be sure….

Should I get a droop compensating scope mount to keep my scope closer to optical center? like this one: http://www.pyramydair.com/s/a/BKL_1_Pc_Mount_4_Long_1_Rings_3_8_or_11mm_Dovetail_007_Drop_Compensation_Matte_Black/2888

I just ordered those tophat shims from Talontunes for some tuning.

Cool, I had an o-ring that fit.

I would use rubber washers to take up more space. I haven’t heard of that problem before though. :confusedn:

quote Sharpshot86:

I hear the bent metal spacer for the sound-lock system rattling around so bend it some more to stop it from moving but it still rattles.

What’s it take to get that to stop?

You could replace it with a foam disk or rubber disk – it’s just there to take up space…

Who made the bipod?
