Q:

My Edgun inspired Weihrauch HW100TK Bullpup

Hi All,
I’ve just joined the forum but have been lurking for a while now and really enjoy the wealth of expertise and advice. I see one or too familiar posters here too from other places so hello to them.

I like the look of the Edgun and think its a lovely stock design (thanks ED) so I decided for my first attempt at making one (or any stock) I’d copy the basic design.
The finished rifle stock is 11 inches shorter than my existing HW100 carbine and I also made a reflex type silencer that saved my another 4 so altogether my rifle is 15 inches shorter and because the weight is back closer to my shoulder its much steadier for off-hand shooting.
I will paint it black (with Rustoleum aged iron paint….thanks Ted in Madison for that tip, its a great choice) and anodize the aluminium parts but not for a few weeks I will try it out and see if I need to make any mods, its shooting well and grouping as before and the trigger is still very good.
Cheers

Nice looking gun?

However we now have 2 Holdovers? 😆

Thanks Guys,
I tried it out the last few days and I’m happy with it, 2 modifications before finishing with the Rustoleum aged Iron paint will be to file in some clearance for the palm swell by my thumb and to insert a pin into the front of the fore-end to mount my Versapod.
What do you think is better Versapod or Harris style bipods, if you look at Ted in Madisons videos the steadiness of his aim is amazing, I can’t keep mine near as steady as that, any tips on improving it.

Cheers

Great work,

the HW100 is by far one of my Fav. rifles, & turning it into a bullpup makes a lot of sense, keep us updated.

Beautiful! Makes you wonder why ed is the only one smart enough to build bullpups. Of all the manufacturers out there the you figure they would see there is a market for this type of airgun. The only other company I’ve seen is cricket but its also not available in the united states.
Nice job , how will you finish the wood?

Nice job, for your first try. 😯
