My Filarms came !!!

Took a while to arrive, so I actually tidied my workbench prior to it showing up and couldnt help myself from taking pictures ❗

Barrel is drooping a bit and the stock is the usual dipped in varnish finish so thats going to come off, but for $30 I was pleasantly surprised.

I shot it once to make sure it worked and then took it apart. Trigger wasnt that bad, I was expecting much worse from reading about it online.

Just need to buy some finer grit sandpaper and some leather stuff for the seals and it will be a quick “tune” and then back together.

Looks kind of nice; sort of like the SMK rifles back in England.

That is a KL-B3 Fast Deer. Poor mans R7. They tune up nicely and normally run a little hotter than an R7. I forget what I was getting with mine, but it turned out nice. I made a ‘turd polishing’ post about it over on the Chinese forum some time back.

I was like Rob. When I seen Filarms I was thinking WHAT THE HELL!!!!!!!!. What is it and Cal.? It looks cool and it sounds like a good deal for that price.

Should have told you before you took it apart…. Mine had a bend in the barrel and is common to those from what I read. Wont notice it until you scope it and run out of adjustment. I needed to bend mine to the right a bit. Easier to do when apart, but still doable once all is back together.

You know you almost made me shit myself…. Filarms….

You can get a button to go on the front of the piston to allow for use of a synthetic seal.. cant think of the name of the site off the top of my head.

Also, there was a post about making a tophat for it that gives it a little more balls and helps to smooth it out. I think I sent you the link.

Really for 30 bucks or so, they arent half bad little guns. A little turd polishing and they turn out quite nice!

A little moly and some elbow grease on the trigger and it will be just fine!
