My first .25 cal barrel
This is my first .25 cal barrel, I hope can improve the accuracy of my talon and hit hogs better LOL.

wow the hole is so big and the groove and lands is so nice.
Still waiting my jsb .25 king to come and will give field report to this forum.
Roachcreek if you see my post here, it is the barrel but haven’t measure the inside diameter yet.

is that a 16mm o/d barrel ?
the brown one at the bullet breech? it is some fiber from the anti rust paper that sticked.
What is in the end of that barrel? It looks like its been lined with mud.

Markus, you screwed yourself all up.
You will never again be able to shoot your gun with the smaller barrel.
Once you shoot that .25 and hear that rewarding loud thunk of the pellet impact, you just can’t go back!

absolutely, I’m now addicted to big pellet, if I see my .177 cal pellet I think how small this pellet and funny I use it almost for my life.
Now, I’m thinking of only use .22 and .25 cal for hunting, and .177 is my last rifle.
I’m not patient try this .25 cal to dove and squirrel and see the result.
I have try with chairgun, with this speed it is still good enough for 68 meter with hold over 2 mildot.
I will still use this talon valve for a while until I get bullet cast and then new bottle and big valve.
I’m searching for .22 cal rifle now dynamax or sportsman hv.
Check out Tony’s custom modded Hi-Flo valve at his web site. Just click on his banner ad at the top, the one that unpretentiously states “Talon Tunes”.
I swear he takes these things into the bathtub with him, scrubs and polishes all the nooks and crannies, then does some kind of magic to make them shoot really fast.

I just chronied
and with power setting 8, I got good 40 shots 770-800 fps
Take the largest group at 35 yards, cut it out with about an inch of paper around it. Then hold it between your eyes.
Gives you a better perspective of how this .25 will pop critters at that range.

She is like bigger caliber and longer barrel, as I expected with my experience before with .22 condor.

the smallest group is 13 mm, and I think it will become better and better, I just still search the maximum power and accuracy.

It will shoot better after a few hundred rounds, mine likes to be leaded.
