My Flex .30 review

I have had my flex for a couple months now and I’d like to put in my two cents about this excellent air rifle. First off I’d like to point out the fact that it was hand delivers to me because I live close by Travis. But when I first seen it I was like a kid in a candy store. It feels sturdy doesn’t feel cheap and you can tell it’s made of quality materials.

Down to the good stuff, I’d like to say that I sold my fx boss .30 to make room for the flex. For me it was a good choice because there are many things I feel the flex is far superior. Accuracy is a big deal in the world of air rifles and the flex has that down with no problems. I had experienced with my boss that past 100 yards it started to open up and not hold a tight pattern. The flex doesn’t have this problem for I have shot it out to 125 yards so far. Was able to hold a nice group at 1.25 inches. The trigger is a thing of beauty very clean break and I like it a lot. One of the things I enjoy the most about it is its felxability to adjust the power of the rifle. Just a quick adjustment to the h/s and a little chrony testing, I feel this is a huge advantage over the fx boss. The boss had power but there wasn’t much you could do if you wanted to shoot the 50 grain jsb Kings. We all as air gunners love to tinker and I felt the boss wasn’t very user friendly in this aspect, where as the flex you can tinker away and not get lost with what your doing. Great job on that part Wicked Air. Cosmetically it is very cool looking with the ar style set up it has, I’ve added a rubber butt to the stock and a cheek rest on mine. This made things much more comfortable for me while shooting. The ldc on this thing works great its bout the same noise level as my .25 marauder which is nice for a day of sniping ground squirrels. Have not gotten the chance to take it out and lay the smack down on some critters but I know it will do a great job. Anyways super happy with my flex its my favorite air rifle that I own right now. If there is anyone looking to buy a .30 cal get the flex you won’t be disappointed.

I ordered the .308 flex because I love the .30 so much. Plus I have a hog hunt in Texas and I wanted to use a .308 so I called Travis up and made the purchase. Should be getting the air rifle soon!!! Can’t wait to put some rounds down range with it, I’ll be using the 96 grain HP from mr. Hollowpoint. Should be very affective on good size game.

I think the .308 in this platform will be stellar.

Took about a month and a half for mine. But mine was out of the first batch that Travis got out. Waiting on my .308 now should only be another week or so.

Those numbers I feel are really good for a gun that is unregulated and pellets not sorted. I was just going for a raw reading of the gun, but did not exspect it to be so close. Any ways I absolutely love this air gun its like being one with the rifle and does not feel like I’m using a tool. If that makes sense? Oh did I mention this air rifle is made in AMERICA. :8:

Yeah, I like mine too. I just need to get it out and stretch its legs because at 50 yards it has no problem. Unfortunately, my last chance to stretch it out was on a trip to PA in December and my one day at the range it was 32-33 degrees with freezing rains starting. I just could not get a good groups at 100 yards and my initial thought was it was just the cold (shacking hands) shifting winds and rain with the Ice storm coming in. So I called it a day which sucked because my intent was to move to the 200 yard and for shits and giggles 300 and knock out a can or two. Never did get another chance on that trip. Though, when I got home and unpacking all my gun gear. I noticed my front scope ring was really loose! LOL I was pretty pissed at myself and laughing for not noticing that before while on my trip that would helped with scattered shots. Thats what you get when you rush putting on your scope I forgot to put some locktite on.

Yep, those are no nonsense, built tough, powerful, accurate guns.

Packable, adjustable, with a superior trigger.

The more those guns get into costumers hands, the more the fine reviews will appear :winkn:
