Hair curlers are a known good solution. Just remember to redo your hair do before using them… 😉 😆

Sorry pab,you say mod attached to frame and not inside, and yes i get what your sayin, use frame for more volume, nice one,ive got the basic can,an extra mod for it,BUT still bangs a bit, thinkin of knockin end off can and puttin my own bits in,goin to have my hair curled tomoz lol……

Venting that front bushing gives you the next airgap up to the second bushing. Lots of airspace there 😉 Also, a vent in the frame between the two bushings helps.(once you have vented 1st bushing) Obviously this all only works if you have your moderator attached to the frame. This forces alot of air back into the frame, through the first vented bushing into the airgap between the two bushings and what little airpower left puffs out the frame vent hole.

Did I say the word BUSHINGS enough times?? 😆

yeah will be pab,and thanx for the info, trouble is tho bein a talon realy only leaves me with bit of room inside frame, didnt realy wanta use that up for my mod, first big chamber an all,any more suggests pab…..

Thanx guys, both for your answers and your fast replies,,,does pickling work only thinkin of doin first one on the barrel, and also puttin my mod right up against the barrel,,,,,but only got 12” lol,see there i go showin off again, thanx guys….

Yeah, venting the front bushing does indeed add extra ‘SHHH’ to it as long as the mod is fitted nice and snug to the frame.

As GTBJ says, its only you that can hear it! Try going downrange a bit (safely 🙄 ) and get a mate to fire your rifle. All you will hear if a ‘phut’ and the pellet whisling by. You won’t hear the slap at all….
If you want less power, inconsistancy and bits falling off all the time, do a slap mod.. 😆

The noise annoys the hell out of me, but you get used to it

in my humble option it’s neither, all it dose is slow your speeds down, and rely the only thing that can hear the hammer slap is the person shooting or the person sitting right beside them.

that being said the common practice is on the hammer

BTW – welcome to the form, enjoy your self 😛
