Q:

My ignorance cost me a Condor tank!

Put it in my checked bags and TSA took it out and left a tag saying “no compressed air” 😥

I HATE learning the hard way…Jim.

Crimson,

TSA like to be able to see whats inside both to know it isnt pressurerized and also nothing else in it.

Shippable by air isnt the same standard as what TSA requires.

Most guys send their tanks by mail and then their guns go with them on the plane when they travel to avoid this problem.

What happened?

Isn’t this air tank approved to ship by air?

What if you buy this tank and they deliver it to you by airmail?

Oh man that sucks!

They need the valve taken completely off so they can look at the bottom of the tank.

Maybe I should make that a sticky in the Reference section.

Now I must agree this ain’t good, but look at the funny side of this… Can you just see how they all were scurrying around the Xray machine when they saw that sucker in your bag :):):)

Damnmmmmm, I would have loved to been a fly on the wall watching that fire drill:)

Sorry you lost the tank dude
