I only buy the barrel a KIDD (Lothar Walther), and the trigger HORNET.
The receiver, bolt aasy, suppressor, stock, I made in a conventional milling machine.
Very nice! Did you use Ruger internals or did you make those as well?

i dont get the whole supressor law….
yes it makes perfect for poaching….but as usual…poachers get what they want just like criminals….so only people getting punished for is law abiding people….
on the other hand…. suppressors, make for more pleasurable shooting….have any of you ever been to a range where people shoot with suppressors….i have…it rocks…less bangs, less shock waves, easier to concentrate on target even though sitting squeezed in between two snappy .338 lapua rifles…..makes ranges more quiet, so neighbors wont complain as much
and suppressors dont silence a gun….yeah on .22lr and such subsonic and some sonic it takes away 90% of the sound…but in say 338 lapua…..powerful it just takes off a bit of the sharpness…still loud when sitting next to it….but much more comfy to be next to, not the window shattering percussion sound you get from unmoderated rifles
you want to supress you own rifle very effectively….for when plinking in your own yard with what ever rifle…
take 10 wheel barrel tires…remove tube, rim etc….line them upone after one, with sho you can shoot through the centerhole of them all….wrap tires outside in rockwhool, nedsheet, insulation…just something….tie it all together….place on a saw stand….you know the x shaped ones….sit down and shoot through it….the walla of the tires will act like baffels, the rubber and insulation will dampen sound
i got a buddy in denmark who shoots his 6.5mm hunting rifle….and i am super impressed, at 100 yards the sound is minimal…50 you can hear it…close up is surprisingly nice….and you dont get the pressure wave and lots of the sound is kept inside the tube….best of all its legal, and works on most rifles….might have to tune it with different size tires…maybe put some insulation inside the the tires etc….
Necrosis
Sorry for the delay, but I do not have pictures of fabrication, but had all the drawings, so I add someones.

Moar pics of the construction itself please! :3
Sure, silencers here are legal, for whatever calibre. Though a silencer should also be listed on your FAC though many aren’t. To own a .22lr you need a FAC(FireArmsCert’) You apply for this showing good reason for needing such and land to shoot on. Then an interview with local Firearms Officer etc.
Not difficult at all really.
Pab, is it true the UK has no restriction on silencers? and you can own a 22LR without too much hassle?
Yes is perfect only 31 inches of length 😈
Over here we would call it the perfect poachers tool.. 😉
The Xolotl is very quiet , you only hear the click of the hammer, I use subsonic ammo.
