Q:

My New Custom Wokbutt

I recieved my new and improved wok butt the other day and could not be happier wih the quality of Adam’s work. I told Adam I really wanted one of his wok butts but the shoulder piece was too long for my case. He came up with a great idea and that was to use a knob on the shoulder piece. the knob allows the shoulder piece to be quickly and easily removed. I also purchased an additional bottle bar and can simply swap the shoulder piece between tanks. Thanks Again Adam for going the extra mile I really appreciate it. Randall

where do you put your leading hand? seems like that bipod would get in the way of things….

I put it right in front of the trigger guard.. i have this sling with elastic or something inside that puts tension on the sling when wrapped around the left arm and makes for a super steady hold…

quote :

aren’t you causing frame flex with wrapping the sling like that?

I never thought about that.. i guess maybe a little but there is not that much pressure on the sling but jsut enought to steady it….but i guess any pressure could affect it when it fires..

the one on the bottom is a tacstar flashlight

Do you have a red and green laser? Or are they just set for different distances?

Man that gun looks sweet

That is a good idea. Looks good. 😀

nice set up buddy

Great work Adam ! 😀

Randall,

That looks great. What I did for Randall is thread the spacer and not thread the tank bar. The knob screws into the spacer so he can easily take off the curved shoulder piece. The spacer is bolted to the shoulder piece so it stays together.

He can unscrew the knob and put the shoulder piece on his other gun with a simple turn of a knob.

Glad it worked out for you!

dinged up in the woods, safe, case, also my son like to shoot and probably put a few nicks there also I have some paint and clear coat but have not got around to redoing it… I plan on getting a better one shroud before too long anyway.

Wokbutt looks great, what what the heck happened to your shroud!? 😕 😯
