Q:

My New Edgun BackPacker is in!!

My Leshiy is in and boy is she a petite little thing! Yes, I knew she was going to be small but until she is in your hands one will not really know or understand how small she is until you actually hold one. She make my other girl ‘my Cricket’ look and feel huge/heavy.
I did get the 350mm barrel option in 22 and 25 for the time being and so far I only had enough time to fit the 22 barrel on and fire a few shots that first night… By the way sadly it took a 5 minutes or 10 to figure out which was the muzzle end and breach end  . haha… I did not notice any markings right off the bat to determine which end was which. I tried some calibers which really did not help me so I just placed a pellet in each end to see which one had a tighter fit. That worked perfect.

out of box no adjustment shots
-w/original regulator which I believe was set to (had 130 bars written on it)
-Fill pressure around 230 bars
.22 cal JSB 18 gr
Avg 3 shoots 730 FPS

——————–
Day two
I managed today to put in the Huma reg

-Huma Reg set around 108’ish bars
-Leshiy was refilled to 230 bars
average 3 shots was 806 FPS (no adjustment was made other than switching regulators)

can’t wait to get some trigger time if the weather pans out this week (not looking good)

Cheers

EdGun

I know the short barrel leshiy is good up to 50 yards, it’s cool to see you 70 yards shooting is still good.

I cannot see the pics.

On my travels to Northern PA we ended up enjoying 50 inches of snow fall in under a week during our stay. I managed to sneak in a few shots for longer range with a gap of calm weather and almost no wind compared to the 10-20mph winds we were receiving… I switched over to a higher powered scope just for this and started sighting her in which I ended at 40 yards and proceeded to shot 50, 60 and than to 75 yards. Due to being a father my shooting day ended at 75 yards. I was hoping to get to at least 100 though my heart was set on 150 yards but I wanted/needed to get the kids out for some sledding and full out snow fun before the weather tuned on us.

Todays setup: PS the cloth camo wrap was perfect match for the cold weather!!!

Shooting range and position (60 yards to snow covered tree and the target is 15 yards further which is a 3 target spinner to the left of tree )

Video (very first shot at 75 yards hold U2.3 mils according to Strelok Pro) I followed up with 3 more shots all hits to POA ‘center spinner target’.

Had a great time on this short shoot which brought back some kid memories of my wintery weather of Northern PA and really enjoying mastering my “Backpacker Leshiy” in the 10 degrees weather just like ED. :8: :4:

That is some pretty good shooting!

As another reference point, my .177 Leshiy is set to 10 FPE, and it is sipping at no more than 3 bars per shot! I dialed the HUMA reg all the way to 80 bars, and use the lowest HST (clockwise all the way).

With a 250mm .177 barrel, the little gun is not efficient at high energy levels. I am suspecting much of the compressed air is still compressed when the pellet exits the barrel. A .22 or .25 is better because of the larger cross section area.

It is still interesting to see how energy efficiency differs at different FPEs!

i think the gun is using around 10 bar per shot.

Nice group. How much bar of your Reg. are you setting and shot account at the velocity?

Hope you’ll get yours really soon… you’ll love it!

Dam you guys I placed my order yesterday for a Leshiy 22 250mm with Huma reg.

got my tracking notice and of course the post office tracking is not working

Between Piotr, Liam, Exziver, and all the great videos I just had to do it

My Leshiy extension kit will be available next week after I get back from vacation. One piece 6061 T6 aluminum that has a flat surface on top so you can put a strip of felt hence all the holes. Comes with the extension tube. Will only work with the 250 mm barrel.

Of course it’s only for the barrel that I don’t have!! Stop messing with me Donny!

Donny that looks very cool, not unlike the rest of your stuff. Great work
