Q:

My new Mod is Cemetary quiet !

Got these in yesterday but was busy trying to assemble my new Industrial sized bandsaw … still am .. flippin thing must weigh 200+ pounds and it’s winning the battle lol’s. Called for some reinforcements I did I did 😆

Installed the Mod seen in the pic of my squirrel rifle and took a shot … then removed the bottle .. looked down the bore … pellet was gone ! I thought I had pulled one of my famous empty bottle shots. Man is this thing quiet 😀

I heard a strange thing I hadn’t noticed before .. hammer slap 😆

Also pictured is the 5 inch mod I ordered for the Compact .25 and I can’t wait to get that gun up and running now .. except for the fact that my 73 year old Father has decided to latch onto it ! Maybe he’ll let me watch him shoot it from time to time … one could only hope !

Craftsmanship on these mods is superb and I can tell that Metal Head puts a lot of pride into his work. A great big thank you to Eric .. I am proud to put these on my rifles !!

I was wondering about the sound dampening of the MH shroud. Looks like a winner. Sure looks good! 😀

Just tell e’m the gun is your purple lover. 😈

Thanks Adam ! Got my goodies from you in the mail today … primo work as usual 😀

Alumahyde II might be a good choice for you.

To use duracoat you will have to sandblast your frame but not with alumahyde II

Why was your Wife eating dinner on my shrouds 😆

Duracoat and Brownell’s I’ll take a good look at both of them … frame sure could use some attention … I was even thinking of a complete camo job on it at one point … but a basic black or olive drab would be sweet too 🙂

I could go for a nice Olive Drab on that frame … wasn’t there some kind of a bake on finish that was supposed to be excellent ??

Lol, yeah check out your shrouds 😆 The Brownells stuff seems pretty tough. Pissed my wife off though when our dinners started tasting like paint. 😈

Duracoat works!

What did happen to the frame…. left out in the sun, harsh cleaner? We should strip it down and spray it with some GunKote. Could paint it olive or sniper gray for a different look. 🙂

Actually it only looks that “plum” in photo’s … in person it looks like it’s a faded shade of it’s original self. Annoying in the pics for sure 🙄

Some stocks are purple from the factory. Look at pictures through the site, and you’ll see, some are black, some are purple. Something about the anodizing I think.

Ah, Airforce must have changed dyes along the way.

Olive drab would be a great choice of color.
Metal, I still have the MTC Viper, and would trade it for your handy work, ie shroud 😆 😆 😆 😆
PM me my man, gotta have one of your shrouds, sweet stuff there.
