Q:

My new "Black" Mrod .25

Well it isnt new. But it is new to me.
Bought it off a forum member who has some work done to it.
It is a .25 marauder. With an airtube extension, a shroud extension and a neil Clauge LDC
It has a Accushot Swat sidewheel scope. It was tuned by Pacific Airguns. It has an extended Bolt Probe.
I need to do some tuning to get a shot curve with it. And maybe install and HDD
The 1st shot is 1038 and the 16th is 916
I want to get it around 48 FPE for around 20 shots with a somewhat managable curve in there. When it gets nice out I will be doing some tuning and testing
It is very quiet. Accuracyt was OK but I noticed the Barrel band was to large and the Shroud just flopped around in it. So I put some black tape on the shroud to make a snug fit in the band and the groups went from 1-1.5 in 25 yard groups to a ragged hole group.
As you can see my target box the bottom left group was where I adjusted the band and it started stacing the pellets then. the 3 shots to the left were just adjust ments after that the ragged hole was 8 more in a row shooting JSB Kings
The but stock is a RAP4 Adjustable stock. I need to get a Quad rail for it so I can put a bipod on it and my Light for night hunting coon and fox.
Trigger is a 22xx Trigger set around a pound and it is very consistent.
All I really need is a slip on grip for it so the pistol grip is more ergonomice but Over all I likle the gun. It isnt too long and it shoots strait and shoots hard!

Sweet! When I get rich, I would like to set something up just about like that with a 32″ or 36″ barrel.

I like it with out the stock! Nice!

I set up my chrony in the garage with my chrony lights and filled it up to 3100 PSI using Kings here is the string
