My New Talon Tunes AAA Condor SS

Well my Talon Tunes AAA .25 Condor SS came in Friday evening. I was gone all day Saturday so I didn’t get it put together until that night. I did get a couple of hours to shoot it Sunday afternoon( sunny 70 degrees & windy). The rifle shoots nice. Since this is my first PCP, I’ve got some learning to do. I have no experience with AF air rifles other than what I have read. So Tony must really do a great job with the trigger. It is nice. Also his shroud works like a champ. Everything on the rifle is top notch. I really like the Wok but & guard. Very nice pieces also. I can’t wait to get some testing started & get this beast figured out. Good thing is that Tony has set me up with a known starting point. Now it’s just up to me. This rifle has been a long time coming but I believe it is going to be worth the wait. Thanks again Tony for a fine rifle!!! I also ordered a Hawke 6.5-20 Sidewinder tactical scope & Hill pump from Tony. I will be using the pump as back up since I have 6000 psi Nitrogen set up in my shop.
Here is what came in for my late Christmas!!

Here is the chrony sheet. Tony has set it up with the middle restrictor and is pushing 25.4 gr. JSB’s to an average of 903 fps. Nice group Tony!

Here is my new baby near bout dressed out. I hadn’t got the side wheel or the bubble level on the scope. Plus I hadn’t adjusted the Wok but yet. I really like being able to use an AR-15 grip on the Wok guard. I installed an Ergo deluxe tactical grip. It’s a very comfortable grip. The Atlas bipod came off of my LWRC REPR. Excellent bipod .

Cool. Thanks for the info.

Years ago I use to include sling stud on the Wokbutt. I stopped because most guys did not use a sling and those who did could simply screw a 10-32 sling stud into the wokbutt.

What I suggest is drilling and tapping a 10-32 hole into the bottle mount for a sling stud.

Do not mount a sling to the shroud, but you can mount one easily into the frame behind the shroud.

Walkonking, have you ever looked at a two point rifle sling set up like is used on AR-15’s ? It would be so nice to be able to sling the rifle on your chest when in the field & also have the ability to sling it on your back when needed. My question is this. It wouldn’t be that hard to weld a QD socket on your Wok but & there is probably a QD that can be attached to the barrel shroud too. But would that put to much strain on the aluminum shroud & also the tank? I know the frame is weakest where the tank attaches. This is just me thinking out loud while I was putting the rifle together. I for one would definitely be interested in buying a two point sling set up if it became available. So what are your thoughts on this?

This is what I am talking about. I would love to be able to set the rifle up like my AR’s.

Tony does a great job and I am glad you like my contribution
